Today's Mathematics professional discussion with Charlotte Wilkinson made me reflect on the the connection between the importance of linking measurement with number through the use of both number lines that start with Zero as well as continuous number lines.
Whilst I have been looking in detail at the comparative language of measurement I hadn't considered its direct links to number lines.
I am looking forward to the opportunity to discuss with Charlotte tomorrow what LTP and Weekly planning formats are available to utilize as the formats I have always used are directly linked to the Numeracy booklets and I have been struggling to visualize this new format.
